Hi there, I just realized I haven’t updated this blog in over 1,5 year. I kind of lost the motivation and I’ve also been busy with many other things. I’ve been focusing a lot on my affiliate business and I also started to play a bit of poker in the beginning of 2018. But now I feel to give it a new try and I hope to update it more often!
This summer I’ve been living in Sweden (as usual) but with start tomorrow the 2 september I will go on a “Eurotrip”. My plan is to visit most of western Europe which I haven’t explored that much in the past. I also decided to focus on playing live poker in the cities. So I thought it would be a good idea to combine my trip with some casual blogging.
My plans for the poker-Eurotrip
I will start out from my city Gothenburg and go to Copenhagen. I’ll only stay there one night because I’ve been there many times before. Then I will go to: Hamburg, Amsterdam, Brussels, Luxembourg, Paris, Geneva, Nice, Montpellier and my end goal will be Barcelona. I might continue after that but I might also be a bit tired of all travelling so I haven’t decided anything more yet.
Below are a rough estimate of where I will be:
I will book journeys and accomodations with short notice if I feel to stay more or less in any place.
Why live poker?
When I started to play poker I only played online. It’s a great and easy way to learn but the competition is also high. To this day I’ve only played live around 5 times but everytime I felt that it’s much better “value”. I’ve also heard this from other friends that are professional poker players, that live poker is much better than online.
I play texas no limit cash games so that is what I will focus on. I want to say that I’m really not a professional, but I think it’s really fun and I want to give it a try.
I hope it will be a great trip and that I’m able to document it here. Right now I’m really excited about the trip!
